The San Pedro River is a thin, quiet stream as it cuts north across the U.S.-Mexico border about 3 miles south of this Arizona town. Tucked out of sight from the rest of the border by towering cottonwood trees that line its banks, this spot's only sounds are the wind rustling through the leaves and birds chirping above.
